Disney Infinity is getting a mobile game, Disney Infinity Mobile, from the GameStop in North America, with plans for it to hit store shelves this spring.
The app is expected to debut in the U.S. on the iPad and Google Play Store in spring 2019, and will feature the same game content as the original Disney Infinity game, as well as other features like a trading card shop, the ability to customize your own game, and more.
GameStop is also the developer of Disney Infinity’s flagship Disney Infinity app for iOS and Android devices, and the developer is bringing the Disney Infinity mobile game to the company’s stores this spring, as previously reported.
GameStop is partnering with Activision Blizzard on the app.
Disney Infinity Mobile was developed by Disney Interactive Studios and features the same Disney Infinity gameplay that fans have come to know and love.
As part of the deal with Activision, Disney is bringing a few new features to the Disney Interactive Mobile app, like trading cards, a new trading card shopping feature, and an expanded version of Disney’s Infinity Trading Card Shop, which will offer new trading cards to unlock and customize Disney Infinity characters.
GameSpot has reached out to GameStop for more information about the game, but we’ll update this story when we receive more information.
