How to Use Siri to Talk to Your Computer About AnythingIf you’re not familiar with Siri, here’s a quick introduction: Siri is a digital assistant that can understand the spoken word and translate it to text using your voice.
Siri can help you do all sorts of things, from ordering food to finding your way to the nearest Starbucks.
It can even tell you when you’re about to die.
In addition to its capabilities, Siri can be a handy tool when it comes to answering phone calls, checking emails, or reading your favorite books.
The most common uses of Siri include, but are not limited to: making phone calls or sending text messages, ordering food, and getting directions.
To use Siri, you must first open the Settings app.
To do this, tap Settings > Siri > Voice > Use Siri for a voice-over prompt.
This will take you to a page where you can choose between the following options:Send a voice message with a text message or an email, or answer an incoming call with a voice command.
To answer an email from a contact, tap the email icon.
To get directions, tap “Get directions” in the list of options.
To find your way around the house, you can tap the Home button, and Siri will take your location.
To read a book, tap Books > Read to start reading.
To switch between reading modes, tap Modes.
